About Seaware
Seaware provides software for onboard decision support with respect to ship dynamics and -performance. We have since the beginning of the 1990s been devoted to bringing advanced ship theories packaged in modern easy-to-use software to the marine industry.
In 2010, Seaware became part of StormGeo, the leading weather forecast and metocean services provider in Scandinavia and the North Sea region. Together we now offer complete solutions for the Shipping, Offshore Oil and Gas, Renewables, and Media industries, serving our customers from eight offices in six countries. We know the value that you and your stakeholders place in accurate information. Our products and services have been tested and proved in the toughest of environments and situations.
A misunderstood weather forecast or else misinterpreted information can do more damage than no information at all. We are taking on the challenge of ensuring that our products and services always perform according to your requirements.
New advances in science and technology have made weather more predictable, and new methods and products are continuously under development. Our engineers and meteorologists actively participate in this development cycle, and highly value close dialogue with our clients.
Seaware was formed out of ship dynamics research at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. Today Seaware is a private enterprise, offering both products and services addressing ships´ performance and dynamic behavior. Within StormGeo, we are part of a team of over 100 co-workers comprising 12 different nationalities, all inspiring each other to deliver innovative cutting-edge products. We are proud to have some of the brightest minds in the industry, creating and delivering true quality. |
