About Us
Seaware provides software for decision support with respect to dynamics and
performance on board ships by merging advanced ship technology with modern
software development. Since the beginning of the 90’s, we have been devoted to the
idea of bringing advanced ship theories packaged in modern easy-to-use software
to the use onboard ships. Formed out of ship dynamics research at the Royal
Institute of Technology in Stockholm, we are today a private enterprise offering
both products and services addressing ships performance and dynamic behavior.
The Seaware Onboard product line focuses on decision support to the bridge
officers in a series of products ranging from weather presentation and route
planning to advanced seakeeping support and advice. Our services ranges from
product training for bridge officers and office staff, consultation in ship
dynamics, such as post voyage analysis after damage, to consultation or simulation
for newbuilding projects. Together with our strong partners – SMHI and AMI –
we offer a wide knowledge in the fields of ship hydromechanics, professional
software development and state-of-the-art marine meteorology.
Our business concept
Develop and provide tools and services based on latest seakeeping
theories to improve safety, earning and environmental impact within
international shipping.
